Pirate Treasure

Ahoy there me hearties! Pirates are all a-happening at Kindy at the moment so it was easy to suggest making a 'movie' about pirates. Once again it was a combined effort by a number of children who participated before getting distracted by having their faces painted as a pirate or sailing way in their pirate ship to the tropics!
Ella, Theo, and somebody else, but I can't remember who, drew the pirates.
Theo dictated the text (and named the pirates!), he also drew the pirate ship - note the propellor under the hull!
Emma and Christy assisted in the scene where the pirates sailed back to their ship. Christy coloured in the dinghy - that took some while! Jack M assisted thoughout with encouragement and suggestions...Michelle...Michelle...! He drew the treasure chests after careful observation of our treasure chest at Kindy.
At present the concept of making an animated movie is still new to all the children (does that include staff??!) so the plan is to complete the 'movie' as soon as possible. At this stage we are not concentrating on sophisticated artwork...that will come!
